Chemical property: reddish brown powder. Insoluble in water, ethanol, acetone, chloroform and toluene, slightly soluble in o-chlorophenol and pyridine. It is reddish brown in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces brownish yellow precipitate after dilution. It is dark red brown in alkaline sodium hydrosulfite reducing solution and dark yellow in acid solution.
Use: vat yellow 3RT is used for dyeing cotton, silk, vinylon and printing cotton, and also for color matching. It has good affinity and levelness, and is an important yellow dye with low brittleness. It can also be used for paper coloring.
Production method: with 1,5-diaminoanthraquinone and 1-chloroanthraquinone as raw materials, the product is obtained through condensation, closed-loop and oxidation.. 72 kg 1,5-diaminoanthraquinone (100%), 168 kg 1-chloroanthraquinone (100%), 71.3 kg sodium carbonate (100%) and 3.6 kg copper powder were put into the condensation pot, heated and dehydrated, reacted at 225-230 ℃ for 2 hours, cooled and crushed, sent into the boiling pot for boiling for 1 hour, filtered while hot, washed to neutral, dried to obtain the condensate. Put 50kg condensate, 150kg aluminum trichloride (industrial product) and 30kg refined salt into the reaction pot, heat to 160-170 ℃ for 1h, put the material into the dilution pot (cold water has been put in advance), generate a large amount of hydrogen chloride gas, absorb it with water, dilute the material, filter it, wash and blow it dry to obtain closed-loop products. Put all the above obtained condensates and 400kg water, 26kg liquid alkali (30%), 1800L sodium hypochlorite solution (effective chlorine content>9%) into the oxidation pot, slowly raise the temperature to 90-95 ℃ for 1h, add water to dilute, press filter, wash to neutral, and blow dry to obtain dye products.
